Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-09
This Privacy Policy describes how the BrasilDoctors service, operated by IA Soluções (CNPJ 51.083.181/0001-06), collects, uses, stores and protects information when providing remote medical care — with contact and scheduling on WhatsApp and the consultation held by video call.
By using the service, you agree to the practices described in this document. We process personal data in accordance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD).
1. Data we collect
- Contact data: name, phone/WhatsApp number and, when provided, email.
- Health data: symptoms, history, medications and other information you share during care.
- Conversation data: the content of messages exchanged on WhatsApp, needed for continuity and the record of care.
- Usage data: technical records such as date, time and the country the contact came from.
2. How we use the data
- Provide the requested medical care and continue follow-up;
- Maintain the clinical record required by good practice and regulation;
- Advise on medication, availability and drug equivalents in the country you’re in;
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Medical confidentiality
The health information shared during care is protected by medical professional confidentiality, in addition to LGPD protections. We do not share your care content for advertising purposes.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:
- The doctor responsible for your care;
- Infrastructure and messaging providers (including WhatsApp) strictly necessary to operate the service, under confidentiality obligations;
- Authorities, when required by law or court order.
5. WhatsApp, video calls and providers
Contact and scheduling happen on WhatsApp, and the consultation is held by video call through a link sent to the patient — each platform has its own terms and privacy policy. Message and call transport is subject to those providers’ practices; we recommend you review them. We are not responsible for third-party policies.
6. Security and retention
We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect data. Care records are retained for the period required by applicable medical regulation and law, and then securely disposed of.
7. Your rights (LGPD)
You may request access, correction, anonymization, portability or deletion of your data, as well as revoke consents, subject to the legal retention periods for medical records. To exercise your rights, contact us through the same care channel.
8. Contact
Questions about privacy and data protection can be sent through our care channel — BrasilDoctors, CNPJ 51.083.181/0001-06.
